The White Card course (CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry) is a legal requirement under SafeWork NSW and recognised nationally by all state and territory regulators.

Any person carrying out construction work must hold a valid White Card. This includes security guards working on construction or industrial sites, as well as construction workers, apprentices, site visitors, and supervisors.

Unit Code & Title: CPCWHS1001 – Prepare to Work Safely in the Construction Industry
Face‑to‑Face Training: 6 hours classroom session in Sydney CBD/Auburn
Virtual Live Training: Available to NSW residents via Zoom (same day Statement of Attainment)
Assessment Method: Knowledge questions, practical activities, verbal confirmation
Certification: Statement of Attainment (issued same day), Physical White Card (posted by SafeWork)

Course Requirements

To comply with SafeWork NSW, all participants must:

Be at least 14 years old
Provide 100 points of original ID (e.g. passport, driver’s licence, birth certificate)
Hold a USI (Unique Student Identifier) – We can assist if you don’t have one
Wear appropriate PPE (e.g. closed‑toe shoes for in‑person training)
